Downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa
Balcony Size Calculator
Length times depth, in feet, times $2. That is the price. An 80 square foot balcony is $160. There is no trip fee in either downtown.
Measure the floor you can walk
Pace the long side, then the short side. A normal stride is close to three feet if you have no tape. Do not count the planter you cannot stand on, and do not count the neighbor's slab.
The same arithmetic is in how to measure a balcony. What the number covers is in what balcony cleaning costs.
What the number includes
The floor
The walkable slab, including the track and the corners.
Glass and rail
Both faces you can reach from that floor, by hand.
Screens and furniture
Mesh, cushions, and the grill if it lives on that slab.
What it does not include
A repair, a new screen, or a drain inside the wall.
A few sizes, already done
| Floor | Size | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Short balcony | 60 sq ft | $120 |
| Typical downtown balcony | 80 sq ft | $160 |
| Large corner | 120 sq ft | $240 |
No minimum, and no surcharge because the balcony faces water or has not been cleaned in a year.
If the tape is in a drawer, send a photo
We can measure off the building's floor plan. Reply window is 8am to 7pm.
Text usFAQ
Do I count the railing?
No. Count the floor you can stand on. The rail is cleaned as part of that floor, not added as extra square feet.
Is a lanai a different rate?
No. The cage is cleaned in the same visit, at the same $2 per square foot of floor. Lanai cleaning.
Is there a trip fee?
Not in downtown St. Petersburg or downtown Tampa. Outside those two downtowns, we do not book the job.
What if my guess is wrong?
We confirm the price before we book. A photo of the floor is enough to check a wild guess.
