Downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa
Bird Mess on a Balcony
A splatter on the rail is part of the visit. A nest and a deep pile are a different problem, and we will say which one you have before we start.

What this page is
Bird-mess cleaning is a wet wipe of droppings on the rail, the glass, and the slab, with the debris bagged and carried out. It is included in the $2 per square foot of the floor. It is not a nest removal, and it is not a claim about disease.
What fresh droppings are, and are not, is in the bird guide. Glass under the splatter is the glass and railing page.
What is included
Rail and glass
Droppings soaked and wiped. No dry scrape across the pane.
Slab
The same wash as the rest of the floor, so the spot is not the only clean square.
Bagged out
Solids leave in a bag through the unit. They do not go over the rail or down a storm drain.
Nests
A nest with birds in it is not this visit. We stop and tell you.
What we will not do
We do not tell you a windowsill splatter is a health emergency, and we do not tell you a large accumulation is a casual wipe. If the pile is deep, or it is inside a soffit, that is a specialist's job. We will not sell a cloth against that.
What it costs
| Floor size | Approx. | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Short balcony | 60 sq ft | $120 |
| Typical downtown balcony | 80 sq ft | $160 |
| Large corner | 120 sq ft | $240 |
The work on this page is in that number. A repair, a nest removal, or a stack of drains inside the wall is not. Text a photo if you are not sure which is which.
FAQ
Is bird mess extra?
A splatter on the rail of the balcony we are cleaning is included. A deep accumulation is named before anyone is booked.
Should I dry-brush it?
No. Dry dust is the part you do not want in the air. A wet wipe is the visit.
Will the glass etch?
Droppings are acidic enough to mark a coating if they sit. Washing them off is the point. A spot that already catches a nail may remain.
Is this photo a job?
No. Stock, credited under it. The finished rail is photographed and texted to you.
