Downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa
Balcony Glass and Railing Cleaning
Reachable glass and the rail, washed by hand, in the same $2 per square foot as the floor. No blade. No pressure washer.

What this page is
Balcony glass railing cleaning is the wash of the panels and the rail you can reach from your own floor. It is included in the same $2 per square foot as the floor, the screens, and the door track. It is not a separate trade, and it is not a blade job.
In downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa the glass fails in a predictable way: mineral rings from concrete runoff, salt crystals that sit on the surface, and a base channel full of grit that the next rain wicks back up the pane. The hard-water spots guide is how to tell a deposit from etching. This page is the hired wash.
What is included
Reachable glass
Inside face, and the outside face only when we can work it without leaning past the rail. We say so from the photo if we cannot.
The rail
Powder-coated aluminum and stainless, wiped with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. No pad, no polish, no pressure washer.
The base channel
Grit brushed out before the wet pass, so the next rain does not paint the pane again.
Floor, screens, track
Same visit, same rate. The glass is not an add-on line on the invoice.
What we will not do
We do not scrape spots with a razor. The National Glass Association says blades are not routine cleaning, and a scratch next to a spot is worse than the spot. We do not pressure-wash glass or a coated rail. We do not promise to reverse etching. If a dull patch survives a real wash and a fingernail catches it, we say the panel is past cleaning.
The method, written out, is how to clean a glass balcony railing. The reason the hose stays inside is no-pressure washing. Salt on the metal, as distinct from spots on the glass, is the salt-air guide.
How a tower changes the job
Water that leaves your balcony lands on the unit below. That is the constraint, and it is why the wash is a bucket, a squeegee, and extraction, not a hose over the rail. Condo balcony cleaning is the page for how that works with a front desk and a property manager. If your manager needs paperwork before a vendor visit, ask us first and we will tell you exactly what we can send.
What it costs
| Floor size | Approx. | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Short balcony | 60 sq ft | $120 |
| Typical downtown balcony | 80 sq ft | $160 |
| Large corner | 120 sq ft | $240 |
Glass, rail, floor, screens, and track are in that number. The rate is explained in the cost guide. Measure with length times depth if you want the number before you text.
One photo of the railing
Text it with your building name. We reply with a price for the faces we can reach, 8am to 7pm.
Text usFAQ
Do you clean the outside of the glass?
Only if we can reach it without leaning past the rail. If the outside face is open air, we say so from the photo and we do not price a face we cannot wash.
Will you scrape the white spots?
No. Spots that are still on the surface get a wash. Spots that are etched do not come off with a blade, and a blade is not part of the visit.
Is the glass extra?
No. Reachable glass, the rail, the floor, screens, and the track are $2 per square foot together.
Do you pressure-wash the rail to save time?
No. Coated rails get a soft wash. A pressure washer is not on the truck for this work.
