Downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa
Balcony Ceiling Fan Cleaning
If the fan hangs over the balcony, the blades are wiped in the same visit as the floor. The rate does not rise because the blades are sticky.

What this page is
Fan cleaning here means the blades and the housing you can reach from the slab, wiped by hand. It is included in the $2 per square foot of the balcony floor. It is not an electrical repair, and it is not a promise that a seized motor will spin again.
The wash stays on the slab: no hose. Sticky film on a rail is the salt-film page.
What is included
Blades
Both faces, with a mild detergent on a cloth. The drip goes into the bucket, not onto the unit below.
The housing
Dust on the canopy is wiped. The motor cover is not opened.
The light, if it is on the fan
The globe is wiped if it comes off by hand. A cracked globe is noted, not replaced.
What stays
We do not spray the motor, and we do not cut power at the breaker. A fan that will not turn is a repair, not this visit.
What we will not do
We do not stand on the rail to reach a fan, and we do not bring a pressure washer. Cobwebs on the soffit beside the fan are wiped if we can reach them from the slab. A leak stain coming through the paint is the soffit page.
What it costs
| Floor size | Approx. | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Short balcony | 60 sq ft | $120 |
| Typical downtown balcony | 80 sq ft | $160 |
| Large corner | 120 sq ft | $240 |
The fan on this page is in that number. A new motor is not.
FAQ
Is the fan extra?
Not if it hangs over the balcony we are cleaning. The rate is the floor. The blades on that floor are included.
Will you spray the motor?
No. Water in the housing is how a fan dies. The pass is a cloth.
Do I need to be home?
No, if the fan is outside and the desk can let us onto the balcony. We text a photo when it is done.
Is the photo a job we did?
No. The photo on this page is stock, credited under it.
