Privacy Policy
What we collect when you text, email or book with us, why, who else sees it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. Effective October 30, 2026.
Who we are
Bay Balcony LLC (“Bay Balcony”, “we”, “us”) is a Florida limited liability company that cleans balconies, lanais and screens in downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa. This policy covers baybalcony.com and the messages you send us. Our mailing address is 400 Central Ave, Suite 606, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
The short version
- This website has no accounts, no tracking cookies and no advertising trackers. It counts visits with a cookie-free analytics tool, described below.
- We only get your personal information when you choose to send it: by text, by email, or through the booking form, which opens a text or email for you to send.
- We use it to price, schedule and do the job, and to get paid. We do not sell it and we do not share it for advertising.
What we collect, and when
When you contact or book us. The booking form and the price calculator run in your browser and do not send your details to our server. When you press send, your own phone or email app opens a message to us with the details filled in, and nothing reaches us unless you send it. A message to us can include your name, phone number, email address, building and unit, your balcony’s size and condition, photos of the balcony, and the day and time window you prefer.
When you hire us. To confirm and finish a job we may also keep how to get access to the unit (for example a concierge or key arrangement you tell us about), any building requirements, photos we take of the finished balcony to send you, and a record of the visit and the payment.
When you pay. We send a payment link by text after the job. You pay through a third-party payment provider, which handles your card details under its own privacy policy. We receive a record that you paid, not your full card number.
When you visit the website. Like any website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record standard technical information for each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. We use it only to keep the site running and secure.
Visit counts. We count visits with Ahrefs Web Analytics and PostHog. Neither sets cookies or stores anything in your browser, Ahrefs says it does not store your IP address with the visit data, and our PostHog project is set to discard IP addresses. PostHog also notes which links and buttons are clicked, how far each page is scrolled, how fast it loads and any page errors, so we can fix what is slow or broken. It never records your screen or what you type. We see totals: which pages were read, which site or search sent the visit, the type of device and browser, the country, and how many people pressed send on the booking form or tapped a text or email link. It does not tell us who you are, and it never receives what you write in a message.
Cookies and storage on your device
We do not set cookies. The homepage saves one small note in your browser’s session storage so its opening animation plays only once per visit; it holds no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions, give you a price, and schedule and carry out the cleaning.
- To coordinate with your building, such as vendor registration or a service elevator, when you ask us to.
- To send you photos of the finished job, a payment link and messages about your booking.
- To keep business, tax and payment records, and to resolve any problem with a job.
We text and email you about your own requests and jobs. To stop texts, reply STOP to any text from us. To stop emails, write to info@baybalcony.com. Our text messages page explains how you sign up for texts, what we send and how often.
Who else sees it
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only as needed to run the business:
- Your building or property manager, when a building requires vendor details or your unit number to let us in.
- Service providers that carry our messages, email, payments and website: our phone and email providers, our payment provider, and our web host (Hostinger).
- Content providers this website loads from. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the homepage loads some images from Unsplash and short films from Pexels. Your browser contacts those services directly, so they receive your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies. If you follow our address link, Google Maps opens.
- The law. We may disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Mobile numbers and text messages. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The sharing described above excludes text messaging opt-in data and consent: we do not share that information with any third party. Our text messaging provider carries our messages on our behalf only.
How long we keep it
We keep messages, photos and job records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; we will, except what we must keep by law.
How we protect it
We keep customer information on password-protected accounts and devices, limit it to the people who need it to do the job, and never post customer photos, names or addresses online. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, so please do not text us card numbers or passwords.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@baybalcony.com or write to the address below, and we will answer within 30 days.
Children
Our services and this website are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our guides link to government, manufacturer and other websites. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only Bay Balcony.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
